This is a map of the El Pianista trail with places where Kris and Lisanne took their photos:

trail

There are 6 places where the girls took their photos. After the name of a place, there is the time of the first photo taken at the place. Then there are numbers of photos taken at the place. You can find the numbers of photos here.

A few words about photos number 477 and 479. The view in photo 479 resembles the view in this photo on the wikiloc website. The view in photo 477 is a view up the Rio Pianista. You can see the analysis of the view carried out by Alexander Herbst on the Cold Case blog (Alexander Herbst used a different number of the photo. There may be some confusion concerning the numbers). In my opinion both photos where taken on the iron bridge. Photo 479 is a view down the Rio Pianista, photo 477 is a view up the Rio Pianista.

Below is a map of the trail beyond the Mirador with marked places where photos were taken.

trail

There are 2 places beyond the Mirador where photos were taken. Here, I tried to identify the place where photos 507 and 508 were taken. Here, I tried to identify the place where photo 506 was taken. See also here how I tried to identify the place in photo 505. The path from the Mirador to the first stream crossing is led according to the map on the wikiloc website.

The map below is based on the information from the wikiloc website.

Example

Each point corresponds to a photo taken at the place denoted by the point. The points denoted red are the points (a number of a photo and the time of taking the photo) indicating the way up the trail. The points denoted blue are the points indicating the way down the trail. I placed a link to the map at the top ("The map and links to photos", see above) where you can find links to the individual photos on the wikiloc website.

The times are based on the EXIF times of photos on the wikiloc website. The photos on the website were taken with two different cameras. EXIF times differ much. For example this is the CreateDate field for the two following photos: 20927635Master.jpg 2019:01:25 16:53:36
20926949Master.jpg 2019:01:25 09:40:51
Both photos were taken at the same place. I subtracted 7 hours 12 minutes 25 seconds for all photos with times after 16:00. In this way I obtained synchronized times for all photos.

This is a link to the file containing EXIF times and descriptions for all photos from the wikiloc website:

The descriptions are translations from Spanish to English with google translator.

This is a map of the trail beyond the Mirador based on the information from the wikiloc website:

Example

There are numbers of photos from the wikiloc website on the map. There are EXIF times of photos as well. The time at the sign "Mirador" is an estimated time. See point "In search of quebrada 1 part 3" here how I estimated the time. Here you can find the above map and link to photos on the wikiloc website.

Time relationships

The time of the hike up the El Pianista trail on the wikiloc website based on EXIF times:
start of trail 20927626Master.jpg 09:37:20
Mirador 20972531Master.jpg 11:56:40
time 02:19:20.

The time of Lisanne and Kris' hike based on corrected EXIF times:
iron bridge 11:18:24
Mirador 13:00:23
time 01:41:59.

We must supplement the time from the iron bridge to the Mirador with the proper time from the wikiloc website:
start of trail 20927626Master.jpg 09:37:20
iron bridge 20926954Master.jpg 09:50:38
time 00:13:18.

The estimated time of Lisanne and Kris' hike from the start of the trail to the Mirador:
01:41:59 + 00:13:18 = 01:55:17.

The time of the hike from the start of the trail to the Mirador based on GPS times from here:
start of trail 13:12:10
Mirador 15:24:07
time 02:11:57.

A comparison of times from the start of the trail to the Mirador:
wikiloc website 02:19:20
GPS time 02:11:57
Lisanne and Kris' hike (estimated) 01:55:17.

The girls's time of hike is definitely the shortest.

The time of the return way from the Mirador to the start of the trail based on GPS times from here:
Mirador 15:23:53
start of trail 17:06:58
time 01:43:05.
